Leslie Culpepper
Owner & Teacher
Leslie's dream for LC's Farm School began years ago as she watched her own children fall in love with the same farm life she cherished growing up. Born and raised in Harrisonville, just down the road from Red Barn Ranch, Leslie always knew she wanted to create something special for the community. After more than 10 years as a public school teacher, the vision became clear. Blending her experience in education with her love for farm life felt like the perfect calling- and LC's Farm School was born.
Allison Brown
Teacher
Allison has always had a passion for animals, earning a degree in Zoology and working at the Cleveland Zoo for many years. After Allison and her husband settled in Missouri, she fell in love with the atmosphere at Red Barn Ranch where she started working during pumpkin season. When she heard of a farm school at the patch, she very eagerly joined the team. Allison and her husband have 2 children, Hailey and Henry.
Beka Baumgarten
Teacher
Beka joined the farm school team in 2024. She was drawn to the farm school life after seeing her own son thrive at LC's. She volunteered in the classroom and decided that she wanted to be a part our our team! She is also currently a PRN mom baby nurse. Her and her husband Nick are raising their 4 children, Addi, Oliver, Emerson and Isaiah.

Ginney McGhee
Teacher
Ginney first joined our LC's Farm School community when she enrolled her oldest child in our very first Farm School class—and she’s been hooked ever since. Over the years, she has served as a substitute teacher at farm school and has enrolled each of her three children in our program, becoming a valued and familiar presence on the farm. With her background in childcare, deep knowledge of farm animals, and genuine love for the outdoors, Ginney is a natural addition to our team.
Carley Rose
Teacher
After traveling parts of the world Carley decided to come back to her roots and start a family. While completing most of her dreams (from chasing monkeys in the Amazon to organic farming in Hawaii) she is ecstatic to accomplish another dream - being a farm school teacher! Carley has a background in anthropology, library science, nannying for 15 years and being “the best mommy ever” to her 6 year old son Archer. In her free time she paints pots and hunts for vintage goods that she sells at local events.
Matt Moreland
Maintenance Man, Pumpkin King
He technically doesn't work here, but he does live here. Matt is the man behind the Red Barn Ranch and the "mad scientist" behind everything at the patch. Your Little Rancher might see him in a tractor planting pumpkins, giving a lesson on something agriculture, or fixing fence to keep the goats from getting out.
