Stay, play and grow together
LC’s Farm School: Little Sprouts is a special parent-and-child program designed for young children, where learning, play, and connection happen side by side.
Together, you and your child (or children) will explore life on the farm through hands-on activities, nature play, animal interactions, movement, and simple early learning experiences. Little Sprouts is all about slowing down, getting outside, and enjoying meaningful moments—while your child builds confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.
This program gives parents the opportunity to be part of their child’s early learning journey—learning together, making memories, and growing in a nurturing, farm-based environment.
Daily Schedule
This is a flexible, come-and-go experience on Monday afternoons this fall. You’re welcome to arrive anytime between 11:30 AM and 3:00 PM, making it easy to work around naps and other commitments.
During your time on the farm, you can explore the trails, play in the corn pit, enjoy the slides and swings, and take part in all the fun activities at RBR.
We will also offer two optional, teacher-led activities:

Animal Interactions with Miss Carley (12:00 PM)
Children will have the opportunity to learn about, feed, and brush our animals—including sheep, goats, donkeys, miniature horses, chickens, and ducks. -
Story Time with Miss Sara (1:00 PM)
Children can enjoy a story, sing songs, and participate in movement activities. A themed craft will also be available.
Open Play: 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Animal Interactions: 12:00 PM
Story Time: 1:00 PM
During open play, two farm school teachers will be present and engaging with families. However, the attending adult is responsible for supervising their children and ensuring all Red Barn Ranch and LC’s Farm School expectations are followed at all times.
